OddBytes (Propel Media) Integration in CPV One tracker

Track every click and conversion from your Oddbytes campaigns inside CPV One

Oddbytes, formerly known as Propel Media, is a pay-per-view and contextual advertising platform that serves traffic through contextual text links, display ads, and lightbox ad formats. It is widely recognized as one of the leading PPV (pay-per-view) advertising solutions available to performance marketers, delivering intent-based traffic tied to specific keywords and URLs — making it particularly effective for offers that align with what users are actively searching for or browsing.

Oddbytes operates on a CPC model for text links and a CPV/CPM model for display and lightbox formats, offering low entry costs and broad reach for affiliates running offers in verticals like insurance, finance, health, and ecommerce.

CPV One integrates with Oddbytes via S2S postback tracking, allowing you to track every click and conversion from your Oddbytes campaigns inside CPV One, and attribute each conversion back to the specific keyword target, placement, or ad creative that generated it.

The same integration works in CPV Lab (self-hosted version).

With this integration, you can:

  • Track Oddbytes PPV and contextual ad clicks and conversions in CPV One in real time
  • Match each conversion to the keyword URL target or placement that generated the traffic
  • Monitor actual ad cost alongside conversion data to calculate real campaign ROI
  • Compare performance across keyword targets, GEOs, and devices in CPV One's drill-down reports
  • Run multiple offers against the same Oddbytes traffic to identify the best offer-keyword match
  • Optimize bids on a placement and keyword level based on actual conversion data, not estimates

How it works

You set up Oddbytes as a traffic source in CPV One and configure the postback URL to send conversion data back to the platform when a conversion is confirmed. Your Oddbytes campaign URLs are replaced with CPV One's tracking link, which captures click-level data — including keyword targets and placement IDs — before redirecting to your landing page or offer.

When a visitor converts, CPV One fires the postback to Oddbytes and simultaneously logs the conversion against the original click, keyword, and placement in your CPV One reports.

Why it matters

PPV and contextual traffic is intent-driven by nature, but not all keyword targets convert equally, and without placement-level tracking data you end up averaging your ROI across profitable and unprofitable targets alike.

With CPV One connected to Oddbytes, you see performance at the keyword and placement level, so you can build whitelists of high-converting targets, cut waste fast, and run contextual campaigns that are actually profitable at scale.
