The Landing Page Protection Script (LPS)<\/a><\/strong> inCPV tracker (CPV Lab<\/a> or CPV One<\/a>) is a feature designed to secure your landing pages and ensure that every visit is tracked correctly. Without it, users or bots could bypass the campaign<\/a> tracking<\/a> link and land on your page directly, resulting in untracked clicks<\/a> and missing data.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Purpose<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The LPS solves two major problems:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Untracked Traffic<\/strong>: If someone types your landing page<\/a> URL directly into their browser, CPV tracker (CPV Lab or CPV One) won’t generate a Click ID<\/a>, and any subsequent conversions cannot be tied back to campaigns.

  2. Competitor Spying<\/strong>: Competitors may try to access your landing pages directly to copy your designs. LPS makes it harder for them to do so without going through your tracked campaign URL<\/a>.

    How It Works<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    When you add a landing page<\/a> to a CPV tracker (CPV Lab<\/a> or CPV One<\/a>) campaign<\/a>, the platform generates a JavaScript code snippet<\/strong>. You place this snippet in the <head> section of your landing page<\/a>. When a visitor arrives, the script checks whether the request includes a valid Click ID<\/a> generated by CPV tracker (CPV Lab or CPV One).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
